There’s no doubt about it that this is a tough time for us all mentally, physically, and emotionally. However, it’s important that we stay healthy and continue to uplift ourselves and loved ones during this COVID-19 pandemic. Here are a few ways we can stay positive in the meantime!
Take 5 minutes out of your day to meditate on an app like Headspace. There tends to be a misconception that meditation means to totally clear your mind, but that’s not necessarily the case! While you meditate, you want to relax and allow whatever thoughts come to you, come naturally and embrace them in a calm manner. Trust us, you’ll feel way more focused and energized.
Listen to Music
Music can be so powerful, especially when it comes to healing. Jamming out to songs that are uplifting and have positive lyrics can really shift your mood when you’re feeling down. Order Your Favorite Foods

Use your time to video chat with your family, friends, or even co-workers! Just because we can’t physically be together right now, it doesn’t mean we can’t communicate and see each other’s faces. Have a Date Night at Home
Bust out the nice blanket, spread around some nicely picked flowers from the yard, and order your favorite fancy dinner for delivery. Plan a date night with your significant other or your roommate! Plan Out What You Look Forward To
Lastly, make a list of things that you look forward to doing once we’re allowed to leave our homes again. From going out to happy hour with friends, watching a movie in theaters, to jamming out at concerts, putting together this list will keep you looking towards the positive.
