Adopting a vegetarian diet can be fantastic for your health. Not only is it tasty, it can also improve your mood, reduce the rate of diabetes and lower your cholesterol. Since it’s Vegetarian Awareness Month, we thought we would share some of our favorite no-meat dishes at L.A. LIVE!

Gardein Vegan Burger .jpg

There is nothing quite like a Gardein Vegan Burger from Yard House. It features red quinoa, kale, shiitakes, avocado, tomato, arugula, onion and miso on an onion bun. Not feeling a vegan burger? Don’t worry, Yard House has a dedicated Gardein section on their menu, with tons of options to choose from.

Oak Grilled Artichoke.jpg

When it comes to Rock’n Fish, the Oak-Grilled Artichoke is the way to go. It’s grilled to perfection and served with a roasted garlic aioli. Plus, artichokes are rich in antioxidants and are a good source of vitamins. What more could you ask for?

Chile Poblano Relleno.jpg

We know that Chile Poblano Relleno at Rosa Mexicano is calling your name! The roasted poblano chile filled with goat cheese, rice, sautéed mushrooms and grilled chayote is the perfect no-meat dish! h. Don’t forget to ask for the table side guac (you’ll thank us later).

Sweet & Sour Pineapple Crispy Tofu.jpg

Although you can’t go wrong with any of Triple 8’s tofu dishes, the Sweet & Sour Pineapple Crispy Tofu is the star of the show! It’s crispy and provides protein. What more do you need?

Don’t get discouraged by no-meat dishes! In addition to being just plain tasty, eating more veggies can help reduce the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and much more.
