Colombian reggaeton singer, J Balvin has significantly charted his way up top in the music industry. He has many record-banging hits that you’ve probably heard on the radio like “Mi Gente” and “I Like It,” but we want to share with you some of our favorite songs yet!

This reggaeton anthem peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs Chart in October of 2015 and stayed put for 22 consecutive weeks! The upbeat track is definitely a party song that successfully played a part in bringing more recognition to reggaeton music.

Mi Gente

One of his most popular songs yet, this 2017 hit has the sounds of French DJ and electronic producer, Willy Williams featuring the one and only, Beyoncé. It is the first fully Spanish track to top Spotify’s Global Top 50 Chart, knocking down Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito (Remix).

Ay Vamos

Produced by Sky Rompiendo on J Balvin’s album of La Familia B Sides, this jam was released in 2014. Its music video is one of the most watched Latin music videos, with over one billion views.

Off of his album Energia, J Balvin released this bop in 2016. The visual was recorded in Mexico City and was a concept that took J Balvin out of his comfort zone. The video went on to gain 4.9 million views on YouTube within the first 24 hours.

Released in 2012, this is one of our favorite tracks as it just makes us want to cruise along the beach as we enter paradise. This song was off of his J Balvin Mix Tape that was recognized as a beginning point for his musical career.

Con Altura

This record collab with J Balvin and ROSALÍA featuring El Guincho is a 2019 hit. The title of the song translates to “With Altitude” or “Up High” in English. This definitely gives us the motivation that we need to get through our day – telling us we can give it our all!

Let’s not forget about J Balvin’s record featuring Pharrell Williams, BIA, & SKY. Released in 2016, this pop song is perfect to groove to during a night out with friends. It is an upbeat reggaeton slapper that allowed Balvin to break barriers along with musical genius, Pharrell.

Que Pretendes

This dynamic duo came out with this club banger that gets us all in our feels. Translated to “What do you want,” this song is about a relationship that ended, but the woman keeps trying to make things work again. Both singers attempt to make her understand that it’s just too late.
