Ghostland Observatory Coming To L.A. LIVE's Club Nokia November 4th

Los Angeles' CLUB NOKIA has announced a Thursday, November 4th performance by dance-rock Texans, Ghostland Observatory. Tickets for the Club Nokia show go on sale Friday, August 27th at 10am.

Ghostland Observatory, with their spectral blend of electronics, drums, guitar and vocals, have emerged with a sound that is the culmination of past influence and present inspiration, and can only be described as ballsy. Of the band, SPIN magazine noted “Ghostland have mated inventive electronic beats with glam-rock melodies for a catchy, highly theatrical take on dance music. And they've done it their way...\" Taking the working man's approach, Ghostland Observatory spend countless hours in their south Austin studio. They have released two albums in less than a year, and have moved audiences from coast to coast with their live performances and unique style. Ghostland Observatory is the duo of front man Aaron Behrens and producer/drummer Thomas Turner. Behrens\" vocal style and stage performances are unique and uncompromising, and he has drawn early comparisons to Freddie Mercury and Prince. Turner is heavily influenced by electronic artists such as Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier and Green Velvet, as well as rockers such as The Animals, David Bowie, and The Clash.

General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $27.50 the day of the event (if available). VIP balcony tickets are $27.50. Tickets for Club Nokia events are available at all Ticketmaster outlets or online at and from 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri at the STAPLES Center Box Office located at 1111 S. Figueroa St.  No fees are charged at the STAPLES Center box office or at the Club Nokia box office on show days (open after 5 PM).
