LOS ANGELES, CA – (August 4, 2015) – Today, BET NETWORKS and AEG announced the 2016 dates for the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE presented by Coca-Cola as it drew its highest attendance for the three-year old festival, drawing 152,500 guests, a 36% increase from 2014. Returning June 23-26, 2016, deposits are now being accepted for BET Experience 2016 for guests who don’t want to miss out on the four-day festival filled with music and comedy concerts taking place at Club Nokia and STAPLES Center; “106 & PARK”, the FREE BET Fan Fest at the Los Angeles Convention Center that features seminars, celebrity basketball games, celebrity meet & greets and other special appearances. In June, BET NETWORKS and AEG announced that the partnership for the BET Experience at L.A. LIVE had been extended for three years and will run through 2018.
The 2015 BET Experience at L.A. LIVE sold-out of more than 1,000 VIP Packages, leading to a 50% increase in VIP revenue over 2014. In addition to VIP amenities throughout the BET Experience weekend, three levels of BETX VIP Packages offer guests the only opportunity to purchase tickets to the highly anticipated BET Awards, broadcast live from Microsoft Theater. In anticipation of another stellar lineup announcement for the 2016 BET Experience weekend, guests interested in VIP Packages for 2016 can place a deposit to secure their spots early and guarantee priority seating at all STAPLES Center shows and the BET Awards. Non-refundable deposits are available for the following BET Experience VIP Packages: Diamond ($500 deposit), Platinum ($200 deposit) and Gold ($100 deposit).
