LOS ANGELES, CA (Tuesday, January 19, 2010) - Dennis Petrullo has been named Director of Booking and Event Development for AEG Facilities for the Louisville, Ky. office, it was announced by Bob Newman, Chief Operating Officer, AEG Facilities.
Petrullo will be responsible for coordinating AEG Facilities' activities at the new 22,000-seat Louisville Arena, now under construction, plus Freedom Hall (20,000-seat arena) and Broadbent Arena (6,000 seats) in the Kentucky Exhibition Center. The new arena, set to open this Fall, is a multi-purpose venue that will be home to the University of Louisville's Men's and Women's basketball programs, plus a water-front restaurant, retail and entertainment complex, in the heart of downtown Louisville.
In addition, Petrullo will focus on supporting event programming in other AEG Facilities regional venues, including the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, a 220,000-sq. ft. exhibition hall, 19,000-seat arena, 3,000-seat concert hall and 1,000-seat theater.

Prior to joining AEG Facilities, Petrullo was the Sr. Vice President and General Manager for Sports Capital Partners, and ran all front-of-house and booking operations for the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. and Rio Tinto Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.
