AEG AND DFS GROUP CREATE A STRATEGIC ALLIANCE TO PROMOTE LOS ANGELES, L.A. LIVE AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS

LOS ANGELES (April 25, 2012) - DFS Group (DFS), who operates the Duty Free concession at Los Angeles World Airports (LAX) and Los Angeles-based AEG have entered into a strategic alliance to promote each other's brands across a wide variety of venues, duty free outlets and properties the companies control worldwide, it was announced by Tim Leiweke of AEG and Polly Nelson of DFS.

The broad and strategic relationship between the world's leading duty free retailer and leading operators of stadiums, arenas and other venues will enable the organizations to collaborate on a variety of initiatives to both enhance sales performance and optimize customer satisfaction at locations operated by both of the companies. The alliance will also seek to develop platforms for DFS and AEG to globally market specific destinations in regions where the organizations share operations – specifically LAX. LAX services departing passengers in eight terminals with more than 1,000 weekly flights on 75 airlines to 66 international destinations. DFS has been operating the duty free concession and delivering the needs of the international traveler for more than 30 years. Both companies understand that LAX is the gateway to the Pacific Rim. The alliance will work to strengthen LAX's position as the destination of choice for international travelers by providing them the best experiences while in Los Angeles and upon departure, at one of DFS' 11 duty free stores.

The first collaboration will take place in Los Angeles where AEG developed and manages L.A. LIVE and STAPLES Center, which combined attract 20 million guests annually and where DFS operates 11 outlets containing over 25,000 square feet of retail space serving over eight million international passengers per year.
