AEG Facilities' The O2 in London Ranks No. 1 Worldwide STAPLES Center Ranks No. 1 in North America

LOS ANGELES, CA (Thursday, October 11, 2012) - Twenty-three venues owned, operated or affiliated with AEG Facilities were included in the list of the Top 100 arenas worldwide in Pollstar Magazine's 2012 3rd quarter worldwide rankings. The list, compiled by the well-respected concert and venue industry publication, reflects tickets sold for concerts and other shows from January 1 - September 30, 2012.

The report also indicated that AEG Facilities' venues accounted for two of the top 4 venues worldwide, with 26% of total ticket sales in the top 10 arenas and 35% of those from the top 20. In total, AEG Facilities sold more than 5 million tickets through the 3rd quarter of 2012, accumulated from venues across three continents.

Even with a hiatus from regularly-scheduled summer events activity due to the 2012 Olympic Games preparation, construction and events, London's The O2 again tops the list at No. 1, with more than 803,000 tickets sold thus far in 2012. The O2 has led the annual rankings every year since it opened in 2007. Los Angeles' STAPLES Center placed 4th on the list, making the Los Angeles arena the highest-ranking venue in North America and earning AEG Facilities two of the top four rankings worldwide. Rounding out the top 20 are the O2 World Hamburg, Berlin's O2 World, AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Fla., Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Allphones Arena in Australia.

\"We are proud of AEG Facilities' rankings in Pollstar's 3rd quarter report, and again are excited to see our global network of elite venues leading the way in attracting and hosting the world's greatest events,\" said AEG Facilities President Bob Newman.
