Based in Los Angeles, California, The String Revolution is comprised of four professional virtuoso guitar players who create distinctive sounds with their guitars, mimicking percussion, special effects, melodic grooves, bass lines, and more. They share a passion for many different musical styles, including modern instrumental, bluegrass, Latin, and pop, and their cover of “Billie Jean” reached the Top 10 Spotify LA Instrumental Chart and has now surpassed over 1,000,000 streams along with their other unique arrangement of "Rocket Man." They have released two CD's -"Red Drops" and "String Born," mixed and mastered by Matthew Hyde in London, who worked on Rodrigo y Gabriela's famed 11:11 record. Songs from both of their CD's have been on the GRAMMY Entry Ballot in 2017 and 2018.
With entertaining guitar chops, exceptional musicianship, and an international background, The String Revolution is no doubt a new and unique force in the world of music and guitar performance. Please join us as we welcome The String Revolution to the GRAMMY Museum for an evening that will include a conversation with the band moderated by Scott Goldman and a live performance.
